Fails to cool areas beyond close proximity.

Setup requires minimal effort and is a straightforward process.

I have a Costway Portable Dishwasher, which I am very satisfied with, so I thought I would try their Portable Air Conditioner.  I have not been disappointed.  So far, it is cooling very well and is not as noisy as the LG Portable Air Conditioner I have.  It has a pretty small footprint and is easy to move around.  It would be nice if it had a vent hose that was maybe a foot longer, but I guess 5 feet is about standard.

the pice that goes in the window doesn't really click in like i thought it would i ended up having to duck tape it to seal the seems. but over all works great keeps.

Works quite well, especially for a small room. I run this 24 hours a day either on the fan or dehumidifier or air conditioner and it works great.

Great news it actually cools my entire house down. This is great for the price and for my needs, there's only one drawback that I do not like about this product. That is the drain hose that I basically have to keep a bucket beside the unit so the water collects in it. Other than that I would recommend for a smaller home or space.

Great product for the price!

The AC did not cool enough to my expectations and it had a noise like the old freezers. It was a hassle for me to deal with the water inside the house that this AC produces. I know it is an AC and water will be produced but I did not think of this before I got it. If you use it for a room where you sleep you will have issues with the water, especially if you floor is wooden or if you have a carpet. No doubt the AC is of high quality but it was not just convenient for me.

Evacuation of water

We have had this 2 weeks and it's making a huge humming sound that is not normal.  Had to turn it off.

Where do I start. First of all how can a unit be called "portable" when you have to vent it out a window? If I had realized the extent of this requirement I would have just purchased a window unit. Especially because the hose to vent this unit is a hideous eyesore in the room. It is about 5 inches in diameter, and it is impossible to put the unit against the wall because of this hose. So I have this "portable" unit that sticks out and takes up the space of a piece of furniture in the room. I can't attest to how well the unit works because I've spent 2 days trying to set it up and still can't get it done. The parts don't fit together, there is a 1" gap on one end of the window piece,  (which will be a great access for flies) and the instructions don't show how or where to attach the dreaded hose to the unit. If it wasn't so heavy for me to wrangle, I would return it.

Serious Buyers Remorse.

FedEx left on front porch of my building and not inside at my door. Safe to say I don't know how it runs because someone took it off the front porch
