[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our Chargepoint charger installed for a couple months now- overall, we love it- it's like having a "gas station" in your garage! The charger itself and the app are pretty easy to use. 
So much easier than going to a charging station or using the regular plug in our garage(way too slow to charge). We have the app set so the car charges at night so it is quite convenient. 

There have been an occasion or 2 when the car did not charge as expected and I was caught of guard with a low charge on the road. When I came home I realized the light was not on on the charger- I was able to switch on/off the electrical source and get it to turn on again (there is no actual on/off switch on the charger itself). I do not know if the problem was with our electrical source (was professionally installed) or the charger itself in these couple cases. Otherwise we have not had issues. Keeping an eye on it...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are new to EV world and are excited to share that this electric charger has been amazing to use so far. Installation was super easy as per our electrician who installed it and instructions that come with the box are very easy to understand.

Pros: Easy to install and use. The app is one of the most beneficial parts of the experience. Our utility company shares the high rate and low-rate times and we have programmed the car to charge in the low-rate time, adding to the benefit of switching from gas to electric.

Cons: It needs the new 240-volt outlet on a dedicated 50A circuit installed with a 50-amp GFCI circuit breaker. This caused confusion and additional costs in the installation.

Great option for not buying charger with car

The charger is not working, the maximum charging current I could set it to is 16A and it is not allowing me to edit the charging current. Takes average of 18 hours to charge to just 80%, this is not a fast level 2 charger I wanted. Need a replacement and return and refund

Charger not working

Product title is showing NEMA 14-50. However, they sent NEMA 6-50. I realized after I called my electrician. He charged me for his visit. My state is also not accepting this purchase for EV Charger rebates. Seller wasted my time and money.
