Thank you for being part of our Truth and Reconciliation journey.
Thanks to your support over the past two years, 100% of the profits from the sale of Orange Shirt Day / National Day for Truth and Reconciliation T-shirts were donated to the Orange Shirt Society, to support them in raising awareness about the impacts of the residential school system.
We began sourcing the orange T-shirt design from Indigenous Proud in 2022, an Indigenous owned company, through their annual Orange Shirt Day Design Contest.
This year, 100% of the profits will be donated to Indspire to support post-secondary Indigenous students through scholarships and the Learning from the Past Fund. Indspire will also donate a portion of the T-shirt profits to Orange Shirt Society, so they may continue the important work they do in raising awareness.
The 2023 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation T-shirt design is by Haida artist Alfred Davidson IV, from the T’saal Laanaas Eagle clan. The title of his design is “Raven and its healing hands”.
