Just what I was looking for. This is a standard handheld calculator with a couple of additions that many calculators don't have. First, it's dual powered which is great if you sometimes need it in low light conditions. Second is the hard cover which protects it from my own tendencies to abuse products not meant for careless handling. Third, the size is perfect for slipping into a pocket when going shopping. With the prices of groceries, etc. nowadays, being able to keep track of purchases can help prevent embarressment at the checkout stand. Nice unit at a very good price.

we am so glad we decided to buy this little, inexpensive calculator! we love the fact that it has a cover and we were hoping to find one that did. & it securely clicks shut so no worries that it will accidently pop open in you purse or carrying bag. so far, it is very accurate & its basic features meet all of our needs.  we are just so surprised that something so compact & affordable works so well! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I'm old school, I prefer to use a calculator that I can carry in my purse instead of using the calculator on my phone. I've used this calculator to figure what to tip in restaurants. I've also used it to figure discounts when I go shopping for clothing and other merchandise. If I  want to pay cash for my items, I add them up first to make sure I have enough cash before checking out.

I wanted a pocket calculator to take with me grocery shopping.  This calculator fits the bill.  It's small and reasonably priced.  I especially like the keyboard cover and the solar feature which means that I don't have to buy batteries.

Very handy, never fails and so tiny. I was using the one on my phone, but it keeps shutting off. A real bummer !

Great product for the price.  Does what it is designed to do.  I am happy with it and already recommended it to a friend who purchased it and was equally as happy with it.  Numbers are large enough to see.  It's solar powered and performs perfectly.  I am very happy with it.

Sharp 8 digit calculator

Although this calculator is smaller than I expected it is a great pocket or purse size. I use mine at home so I don't carry it with me. It works great but the shipping was not fast. If you're not in a big hurry to get it then it's a great deal.
