Fairly easy to put together. A little cheap but looks very pretty. I bought the platform and together its gorgeous

Looks great

This bed was as described, looked as pictured and was pretty simple to build.  Most pieces were well marked, only the pieces that were lacking were the hardware pieces.  The step by step booklet diagrams and pictures helped along the way.  It reminded me of building legos!  Even though the bed has particle board components, it looks nice and seems well made.  The price was a bit more than wanting to pay was the only other downfall.

When installing the back piece, a word of warning;  The instructions don't make it clear that it matters which way the board is oriented.  It does!  It looks as it if it doesn't matter which way is up when installing the dozen or so screws, but if you don't have the correct side facing up the spacing is off.  Just a word of warning!  Other than that, assembly was easy enough and it looks great.

One hiccup

Bought frame and headboard; frame is cheap particle board, holes don't line up, and it's pretty flimsy. Headboard itself is heavier particle board and actually feels solid, but I wouldn't bother buying it because it doesn't affix to the frame hardly at all- one or two bolts on each end and it's extremely wobbly. Which is sad, because it isn't exactly a 'cheap' set, and it does *look* nice when assembled. Used it less than a month and the long side of the frame snapped, pulled right out of the head end of the frame damaging the hole and breaking the hardware. Southshore was fine to deal with and sent me replacement parts right away, but I haven't bothered to set it back up yet and instead just awarded using my old frame again.  You WILL need to buy yourself extra hardware to affix the headboard to the frame properly, and I wish you good luck because there's almost no chance it'll stay together because of how cheap the materials are. :(

Not worth the money

Most overpriced piece of junk I have ever bought. During assembly of the headboard I use the provided screws which came through the front of the headboard. Once final assembly was completed I noticed five holes in the front of the headboard where the screws were poking through.

Do not buy

Pre-drilled holes don't line up. Instructions are a joke. One piece of the veneer was cracked around the pre-drilled holes.

Waste of money
