We try to keep it welcoming by adding palms, shells anything beachy since it has a door that goes out to the pool. This fan with the palm like leaves was the perfect finishing touch. The fan itself is very quiet, moves air throughout the room even on the lowest setting. Installation was easy as well. We had it up in no time at all. I highly recommend this fan both for the looks as well as keep a room circulated. I feel that it could also go outdoors under obviously a covered patio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a unique looking fan. Each fan paddle is shaped like a big leaf and they are cherry in color. The base is a dark bronze (think: dark chocloate brown). While I would have preferred a remote control on the fan, it's not the end of the world to adjust it with the hanging chain. There is no light kit, it's just a fan. Overall, a good looking fan.
