Arrived in good shape and works as advertised. Pulls gallons of water out of the air in a single day. This machine is relatively quiet and looks to be made well.  Electronic controls  are 
straightforward and easy to use. Walmart has the best price of any retailer on this model as well .  Very pleased with our purchase.

Great Dehumidifier at a good price

Flawless and simple after a month of use.  Extended 5 yr warranty only  -$45.  Sucks water out of the air amazingly fast and keeps it at 40% humidity, or wherever  you set it.  Overkill for our RV but would  get the same one again.  After 2 people taking showers, humidity is gone, keeping it at 40%.  Big and heavy but we keep ours on the counter.  Easy to dump water.  Whisper quiet.  It regulates itself on and off just like your refrigerator with the same quiet sound except with more air volume blowing out the top.  No hot air blowing out like Ive seen reported, only between cool to above room temp.

Flawless, Quiet, Fast.

So far so good! We used this dehumidifier in our basement and after just a few hours the smell was gone. We have to dump the water at least twice a day but it is totally worth it. It really does what it is supposed to do and pulls the moisture out of the air it is also  relatively quiet. Thinking of buying another one for upstairs. I am impressed with this unit.

Amazing

After a prior frigidaire dehumidifier stopped working properly, and researching several competitors' dehumidifiers, I gave frigidaire another try. I am so happy I did. This dehumidifier has a high capacity reservoir, does a fantastic job at removing humidity in my basement, and does so without a lot of noise. Very happy with this product to this point. I have been using this dehumidifier for nearly a month. Hopeful this frigidaire will last longer than the previous one (2 years).

Great so far

This dehumidifier came highly recommended by a testing source online.  I researched other dehumidifiers and the size rooms they would service well.  I use mine in the basement and bought it because my old one had died.  I love the simplicity of the model and the effectiveness!  I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a top of the line product.

Excellent dehumidifier

Bought to have a back up.  Only used a couple of times so far,  but it works great.  It quickly brought the humidity level in the room down (Not used in the basement) The noise is as to be expected althought I believe it is not as loud as my Soleus Air dehumidifier.

No complaints

Its not loud. Seems to be doing the job. My only concern is I have it set for 55, and its still running when the room is reading 49 humidity level. Its not on continuous. Haven't heard it to shut off yet. Bucket is a little tricky putting back in and I don't want to give it to much force.

Doing the job but.........

The fridgidare dehumidifier itself seems to be operating just fine so far. My issue is with the delivery. The box has markings showing which way the item is to be turned upside, however the delivery person left it upside down on my front porch. I found the top of the unit with a crack in the top.
Since I had already waited for delivery, I will wait to see if any problems occur. I can deal with the crack as long as it doesn't effect operation of the item. I would recommend the dehumidifier so far, but definitely not the FedEx delivery person! I will give an update if problems occur. After two hours of use the humidity in my house dropped by 8% on continuous use. Fan does put out warm air and it does make noise but no more than a regular fan. So hopefully the crack is just cosmetic. 1 star is for the delivery, I changed it to 3 because out of fairness the item itself works as described.

Delivery unacceptable!

This worked fine for almost one year. It stopped working, started icing up and I tried to troubleshoot it and see if I could make it work again. When I called a few days later after I couldn't get it to work, Frigidaire said tough luck. It had been One year and 4 days by the time I called about the warranty. Since it was 4 days out of warranty the company refused to do anything. Frigidaire let me know that this isn't a repairable model either. So if you want to spend the money on something that has a one year lifespan, then this one is for you. As for myself and my family, we will Never buy another Frigidaire product again. Extremely disappointed.

Terrible product. Designed obsolescence

Don't buy this dehumidifier (Frigidaire FFAD5033W1).  Mine worked well for about one year.  After that, it starting shutting down with an "EC" error message.  The local shop that repairs Frigidaire  applications told me the the problem was part of a sealed system that could not be fixed.  I called the Frigidaire service line and was told that I needed a new unit because my new looking one  was one week out of warranty.  I hate junking newish appliances.  Next time I'm buying a unit that can be repaired.

Don't Buy this Product!  It can't be repaired!
