I was looking for a modern farmhouse style rug with a little color and antiquing that was soft enough for my young kids. It had to be economical, in case the kids destroyed it. This rug fits our life stage perfectly! My 7-year old son even told me that he loved the rug. Yes, it does shift color as you walk across it from faded to saturated; yes it has a slight sheen, and yes you can see your footprints, as other reviews have mentioned. I recommend a rug pad underneath. It looks great with our white cabinetry and oak floors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this rug. So happy with it!! Looks great in my dining room. Colors are subtle but bring some energy to the room. Its also super comfortable and could work in any room. I want to get other sizes and colors for other areas in my home!

MUST GET

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great rug. We have got a lot of complements on it so far.  When you stand over it, its got a lot of defined colors but when you look at it from a angle it appears a faded.  I'm not sure I would call it light brown but we still like the rug.

Light Brown Rug

I purchased this rug in two sizes, a small one for a downstairs bathroom and a larger size for an upstairs bedroom, and a few months later I am still so happy with these purchases!  They are very low pile and high quality.  I love how easy they are to vacuum and we've even had to clean up some pet messes off of them and they've cleaned like a dream.  They look amazing!  Wish all the rugs I purchased online looked this good in person!

High quality, easy to clean!

This is a wonderful rug - a bit more pale, with more pinky tones than I was expecting as shown in the pictures - but it really looks great in the room.  I received it very quickly as well.  I was a little concerned since it was polyester instead of wool or cotton - but it is extremely soft, with no odor, and best of all - it doesn't shed like my old wool rug did.  The cats love it, too.  They've been lounging around on it and loving every minute!

Wonderful Rug

Beautiful rug, very impressed with overall quality and it arrived in 4 days!
4 stars because the photos show very vibrant color and it is colorful, HOWEVER, if the fibers are moved in the opposite direction (from feet/vacuum etc), it takes on a faded look. I believe this has to do with the sheen of the material used, I just wanted something darker for that area we use it in and it’s impossible to get it that way all over.

Beautiful rug

This rug is absolutely gorgeous and I love it! It's nice and plush even without a rug pad.  It has completely warmed up my space and made it feel like a different room.  My only complaint is that (as other reviews mentioned) the fibers look darker when they're rubbed one way, and much lighter when they're rubbed the other way.  It seriously looks like a different rug when it's lighter.  I much prefer the darker look, but it's gorgeous either way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it was comfy and soft underfoot and really like the pattern. it was lighter/darker depending on which way the rug was brushed which confused me at first. I liked it overall but didn't fit with our space after all so ended up returning.

Darker than anticipated

After reading other reviews I felt like I knew what to expect... I knew the rug was going to be thin and the quality of the color would depend on which way it was “brushed”. I’m glad I knew about that otherwise I would have been very disappointed. 
That said... for the price, it’s good enough. 
I took stars off because the picture of the red rug is not totally accurate. I was hoping for a dark, burgundyish red like the photo. It’s actually brighter and almost magenta ish in person. Even when brushed the “right” way.  
Overall, I’m not sure if I would order again.
