Durability

Build Quality

Sturdy and durable.  Easy to clean. No way the squirrels will destroy this.  I now have three.  The first one is just like new and we've had it several years.  It was so good we bought a second a couple years ago and  a third a couple weeks ago, replacing other plastic feeders that couldn't withstand the tests of time and squirrels.
They are heavy and you have to take them down to refill so getting them hung back up after refilling can be a challenge to your arm strength.  A girly girl may require a manly man's assistance to refill and rehang every 2 or 3 days.

I love this feeder! It's heavy-duty, squirrels can't wreck it, birds like it, hold an enormous amount of seed. I keep mine on a patio table so squirrels can eat from it too. Ring at top unscrews and lid comes off for easy filling. Glad I spent the money for something that will last.

I love this feeder!

Great birdfeeder! It holds enough birdseed so that it doesnt need to be filled so frequently. Easily cleanable and sturdy.

Worthwhile

Bought this feeder for its large seed capacity and sturdiness. I wish it had a few more perches on it.  It is strong and looks like it will last a good while. The birds love it, but the squirrels attach themselves to it until they're nearly bursting. Just received a baffle to combat them. If that is successful, it will be a perfect feeder.

Great Quality, Attracts Wildlife

Great feeder. This was a replacement for the same model. The thread on the top wore out on that one after a year or so.

I already had this feeder from about 5-10 years ago and have loved it. It has surpassed many storms, bears, and the occasional drop.  

The birds seem to enjoy the feeder and it looks nice. As old as the original is there isnt any rust.

Sturdy and simple feeder:

I bought the big bird feeder. the box was destroyed. chat with Wal Mart. said private seller. they text them but they never contacted me. feeder was dinged a bit. beware of outside sellers. for over fifty dollars I would think it would come packed good.

very heavy when filled.if your not very strong would not recommend this unless you have someone to help you hang it.tray too shallow for larger birds,like blue Jays or cardinal.most suited for small birds.
can't be pole mounted 
seeds are exposed to weather through the screen
when squirrels got on it,they spun it so that it unscrewed from the top and crashed to the ground twice.
there isn't a way we found to hang it where squirrels won't get it
