i had a blink camera, i bought it for the brand name... well it sucked, this one is easier, no mandatory purchases.... sd card is great.  easy to navigate through.  solar panel is a nice little feature.  very satisfied.

I wanted to get a security camera because a neighbour had a delivery package stolen. The ieGeek Security Camera met my requirements. It's wireless and rechargeable, and you don't need to pay for cloud storage. The photos are clear, and it's simple to inatall and operate. Perfect for my needs. I recommended this camera to my neighbour.

Very sturdy at standing up to the elements. That's a bonus.
However, is not a particularly good choice with regards to recognizing motion.  Most activity has already left the field of view by the time the camera starts recording, and, there are times when people walk right in front of the camera and it does not recognize motion.  Then someone else will walk through the exact same location and the camera will recognize the motion.  It also loses Wi-Fi activity with greater frequency than other cameras positioned very close to it that are from other manufacturers who don't drop the Wi-Fi connection.  So, the camera is "good"… But, it's not really a perfect fit.

I bought three of these and found that after a full charge They only lasted 3 to 4 days before needing to be recharged for another 24 hours. Additionally The recording time is very limited Only capturing 10 to 30 seconds with an SD card. Upgrading to a cloud subscription only extended the recording time to 30 seconds to 3 minutes. I ended up purchasing a different and of camera Which is smaller but still provides highquality images and has a longer 2month battery life. It also records continuously every minute for 24 hours And only requires an SD card for storage

The 1 to 5 month battery life advertised for this product is not accurate in my experience
