A real helper

I am so happy that I bought this.  It is great for touch ups on floors and furniture.  It's not too heavy to move around and there is no cord to trip over.  I am very pleased with it.

Great value for the price.

After reading many great reviews I purchased my dirt devil. The first day it seemed pretty good. Now after owning it for 3 weeks the plastic that holds the head has broken. Also it gets clogged regularly because of the way it is designed which is very irritating.  I found the suction to just not be that great, maybe I was expecting to much from reading all the glowing reviews, or maybe I just got a lemon I'm not sure. Unfortunately I cant even return it right now as Walmart will only give me a replacement of the same model.  I wish it had worked as well as everyone had said... but it just came up short.

Maybe I was expecting too much?

[Employee of walmartcanada] Nice vaccum.  Good for light carpet cleaning.   Better for tile or wood surface cleaning.  Picks up dog hair really well. 
Only issue is you have to clean the suction part more frequently as hair get caught in there and it suction power reduces if something is blocking it.

Bought Black Friday worth the price.

This is light weight. Easy to monuver around stuff. Great suction and not too loud. The charge last long enough for me to vacuum my kitchen, living room, bathroom and 3 bedrooms. My house is average size.

Cordless vacuum cleaner

[Employee of walmartcanada] I got this vacuum about 3 months ago, and it's already broken! The tubbing sometimes gets clogged, also hair gets stuck in the brissel brush and stopped my brush from turning. Also the plastic broke at the base so only the tubing is holding it in place. Im so sad. It was my most favorite vacuum I ever purchased for myself. Now I cant even find replacement parts for it..

I love it, until it broke today

This is a very handy cordless vacuum. It's ready to go right away. I have a very hairy cat that leaves a little bit of himself everywhere he goes. The locking mechanism on the wand is a little cheap though. Doesn't always lock

Handy vac

This vacuum works and cleans well except for one major flaw: the long tubular pipe that you attached to the vacuum unit does not click in properly and keeps falling out. I returned one unit and exchange it for another and it did the same thing.

Flawed vacuum design

Very heavy and no power when removing the broom. It is not possible to go to the corners Useful only for the corridors with the broom for the carpets in a straight line without corner... useless!

For hallway carpet only

Bought this vacuum a while ago, and within 2 months the swivel joint in the power-head snapped and shredded the plastic hose inside. Contacted Dirt Devil customer service and they sent out a new one. Fine. However, the acceptance of the new unit means the case is closed and the same issue cannot be re-opened. About a month after the new unit arrived, the exact same issue happened.  The build quality on this vacuum is shockingly poor. 2 units fail in the exact same way. Terrible!
