This is a very attractive Corelle pattern. I'm using the luncheon plates more than the dinner plates because the latter are quite large. I ordered 2 16 piece (service for 4) sets and they were delivered in perfect condition. The only problem was that the in one set the wrong bowls had been packed. I called World Kitchen and the correct bowls were immediately sent. I think the mugs are a good size--generous without being over-sized. Plain white serving pieces go well with this pattern, although there may be additional pieces available in Shadow Iris. I have not yet explored further purchases. It just so happens that the colors in the pattern go very well in my newly rehabbed kitchen. These dishes are lovely enough for formal dinners, although I use them as my everyday dishes.

You'll not find a better looking service for 8 that is also low cost and very durable. Replaced my old (and very heavy) stoneware with this set for everyday use and couldn't be happier. Elegant enough that I doubt that I'll ever be using my china set again, and don't have to worry about putting them in the dishwasher! And I really appreciate the lightweight and ease of stacking, along with the reduced storage space required in my cabinets, even though the pieces are larger than my old stoneware. And one added benefit.....the desert plates are big enough to serve as a dinner plate for those of us who may be eating smaller portions as we struggle with our diets and are concerned with portion-sized meals!

Great looking dinnerware at a bargain price!

We've been using Corelle dish sets for more than 25 years., changing patterns to match our needs. This set was was a bargain in as much as Walmart offered an online ad price that couldn't be beat. At the time of purchase we saved $40.00 over all other outlets selling the same pattern through Walmart's special offer of two 16 piece sets ordered at the same time for this pattern.

We did first purchase a 30 piece set through a different outlet but I don't know how they are able to keep Corelleware customers by selling what I feel should have NEVER passed quality control. The plates sides were wavy after coming out of the molds, some of the bowls had glass "pimples" that protruded from the bottom, one of them was large and pointy enough to damage the skin of my thumb. I also felt the "pimples" protruded enough that if they were stacked, they might damage the plate below them after prolonged use. We took that set back immediately costing us $7.00 in fuel and tolls. Walmart offered free delivery to my home or to the store of my choice that was much closer than the first purchase vendor's location.

Very careful examination after washing every plate, bowl, and cup showed NONE of these problems in Walmart's sets. We are very, very pleased with this purchase. The rating for durability is based on two weeks ownership. I am NOT connected in any capacity or manner with the Walmart corporation, I am however a true bargain hunter that employs the internet to bring me TRUE value for my dollars. I hope that your experience with a duplicate purchase yields the same results.

A great bargain for two sets

These are very beautiful dishes that could be used daily or even for holidays as they are that nice.
They are lightweight which is nice. They are dishwasher safe and microwavable safe. Should of bought them earlier but I'm glad I have them now. They're so light in color and delicate with the flower painted on them.

Everyday use or use for Holidays

Got these because of ulnar nerve problems which make it necessary to rest my right hand and arm. My old stoneware was just another thing that was causing pain. Got this beautiful corelle dinnerware which is quite a bit heavier than I expected but seems quite durable and is really pretty to look at and eat off. Hopefully they will be the last dishes I need.

Beautiful dinnerware

It's a beautiful pattern. I like that the pieces are very light and all fit nicely in the dishwasher with the exception of the square bowls. The bowls are a harder to stack in the dishwasher.  I have had Corelle before and dropped pieces on the floor without any chipping or breaking. I hope these perform as well.

Nice pattern

We have had used Corelle dishes for 35 years from my wife's aunt and they are first rate for every day use.  We passed them on to our daughter and decide it was time to modernize.  This is one product that has gotten even better over time with new styles and shapes.  Also the price is very reasonable for a 16 piece set at Walmart.  The new square shape and the "Shadow Iris" style looks so beautiful.  I could go on and on about the features, but you cannot go wrong with this purchase, believe me!!

Time to modernize.

I was very pleased to have found this online. The pattern is one of Correllware's most attractive. Only the design of the salad bowls was a little disappointing. The decoration on these bowls is simply a green stripe running along the edge. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had used the same floral pattern on these as well. Other than that I am very pleased with my purchase. These dishes are very durable, chip resistent and are a lot easier to handle & to wash due to there light weight.

Very Attractive Floral Design Great for Day or Eve

I wanted to get new dishes and decided on these after reading other reviews. I like Corelle because it can go in the microwave and dishwasher. I also like the weight of them compared to stoneware. The pattern is really pretty. I am really pleased with my purchase.

Nice dishes

For Corelle dinnerware, this was a good price. The only thing we miss is a small plate. The salad/sandwich plates are large enough for small dinner plates and the dinner plates could double as platters.
Set arrived early at our Walmart and in good condition. We were pleased with the pickup at the store.

nice dinner set at a reasonable price

I ordered these from walmart.com and when they got here they were not exactly the same color. Not dark at all and there is pink in it. A couple plates had chips, even though they say they are chip proof and between the two boxes, half were very warped to where you really could tell. Very noticeable. I returned them that day.
