I didn't even look at TV's in the store.  I get dizzy.  I read a million reviews and bought the best rated picture for the money.  You can't beat Vizio for that.  I replaced a 55" HDILA TV made by JVC.  This blows my old TV away.  I don't use any of the "smart" functions.  I bought this as a monitor.   I bought this TV for the picture and I was not disappointed.

Picture adjustments to my liking easy.
The Vizio has a beautiful picture.  The remote is small
and works perfectly.  This is my second Vizio.  My son
has three Vizios.  Hooray for Vizio.  The price was good
for a retired couple.  I am a female and 80 years old and
I wired the TV myself.  First attempt was successful.

Vizio Does Not Disappoint

I upgraded to this beautiful TV a couple months ago. My previous Vizio was a 42 in. with only 720 p. I had it four years and still works great. I gave it to a friend that needed  a TV. This 50" M Series is magnificent . I am a little slow in the technology area, but I am catching on to the smartcast. My next Vizio adventure will be a smartcard soubdbar. I can't wait.

Vizio has always been able to bring a great TV experience for prices that make sense.  I bought this to replace a ten year old Vizio 50 inch plasma that I had n the bedroom 
 That TV still works (well mind you (another point for Vizio), but wanted to start my dabble into 4k.  This TV has dolby vision and HDR support works great with connecting any device to play, streaming or otherwise.  The picture is fantastic.  I found myself watching this more than my main living room TV.  Once you see true 4k content its hard to go back.  Another thing to remember is that vizio doesn't skimp on speakers.  For any tv you need at least 15w speakers for it be audible in a normal sized room.  Anyway if you know TVs and the current 4k market, you already bought this; if not I dont think you will be disappointed if you do.  Oh and make sure it is the new 2017 model, dont think any M55 is the same, the specs do differ.  But for these 2017 models, vizio killed it.  Check CNET for their reviews as well.  I am eyeing the P series for the main living room, just wish it came in an 80 or 85 inch model.  I am definitely hooked on 4k, just wish there was more content, but this looks like the year it is starting to gain momentum.

Great TV for making the 4k leap

I just thought I was getting another Smart TV. I wasn't that happy with the SmartCast TV, mainly because I don't have my Amazon Prime on it. So, had to purchase an Amazon Fire Stick. Also, the stand for the TV was no longer a pedestal type, so I had to but a new entertainment center to place TV on. So, overall wasn't that pleased.

I'm enjoying the TV so far.

Purchased this UHD display a few weeks ago and has met all my expectations.  Spending thousands for a good 4K dispaly isn't necessary. Vizio offers many high quality displays for a reasonable and fair price. Am pleased and happy I chose it. My only wish is that it had a digital tv tuner or an option to purchase one.

M65 has a great picture - setup and software on it is good. 
Attention this unit does not have cable connection. no place to hookup antenna.

M65 TV- Moniter

I ordered and received TV direct from Vizio and works great with Vizio 5.1 sound system previously purchased.  I had some confusion installing TV as buttons like netflix or amazon did not work at all. A couple day's later received a download to my TV automatically from Vizio to my (smart) TV and all functions started to work.  This was not explaind to me in any literature with purchase so temporarily had used a Roku box till download made all functions capable to remote. I no longer need the Roku box on this set since download was made.

I bought this model to make using You Tube easier to access for my occupational training. It is not on the tv menu like several useless ones are. Now I still have to use my phone to find all my You tube training. The hassle and inconvenience prevents me frim using it. I didn't need a new tv. I needed you tube to be easily accessible on a readable size screen. Regret my purchase.

Picture is fine, price point was what I was expecting, but this TV does not like staying connected to the network, and when it is consistently lags at streaming, whether it is higher resolution YouTube videos, or just casting downloaded movies from my PC to the TV.  I wouldn't recommend without 3rd party external casting

Poor wireless capability

I bought this a few weeks ago and received two weeks ago. I just set up this new TV with a new Spectrum carrier and no picture would come up, we first assumed the HDMI cable I had was bad, the technician put his new one on TV and still no picture. he ran a test and said my HDMI input is dead. He had to use a different input other than HDMI which he said " this will work but you will not get the same quality as you would with HDMI. This is makes five Vizio TV's I have purchased over the years, the second I ordered straight from Vizio. I am so disappointed in the Vizio quality control, this TV should have been checked out before sending it to me. but obviously wasn't.
