the installation instructions really need to be improved.  I am not sure If I have this installed properly, but grid really does work!

Pretty sturdy material, not the best if you need to cut it as it becomes flimsy and you lose all the cells, used it to retain some pebbles in a slope, did the job but you need to put quite a lot on top as well so it doesnt rise. If it is flat and you dont need to cut it, then it will do the job.
