This pot is beautiful. It has the right capacity for feeding a lot of people without being too deep. I have only cooked things with a lot of water content. That food didn't stick or burn. I don't know how a thicker food would do. I hand washed it and it cleaned easily.

I'm a huge fan of stainless steel cookware. I love this stock pot. It cooks evenly. looks attractive up on my pot rack and is easy to clean. This tramotina line of pots are of good quality. I also like the glass lid and all the handles don't get hot while cooking, even if making a complicated recipe or when cooking with it for hours on the stove.

m very happy with my Tramontina 8-quart Lock %26 Drain Stock Pot. The locking drain lid is incredibly convenient — it makes draining pasta, vegetables, or stock so much easier and safer, with no need for a separate colander. The pot itself heats evenly, feels sturdy, and is a perfect size for soups, stews, and big family meals. I also love how easy it is to clean.

Overall, it's a well-designed, practical piece of cookware that has quickly become one of my favorites. Highly recommended!

Lightweight, beautiful stainless steel pan! I thought I would like those pull out drainers for a pasta pan, but this one is so easy to drain in one pan without making a mess. It stores easily and not as many items to have to put away with the pull-out strainers. The strainer just locks in place and has a wide opening so I can add ingredients while cooking. Love the glass lid. It's a great replacement for an old aluminum self-draining pan I used for the longest time. I love it!

This is an excellent pot!  Thick bottom. I've made “Sunday sauce” in it many times. Great for pasta too as it comes with a strainer. I may buy another!

Excellent quality from a great company

I haven't used the pot yet but it looks like it will be great for making soup in. It is deep enough to put a ham bone in with room for beans and vegetables. I can't wait to use it!

Just what I was looking for…

Great pot for soups, pasta, stir fry's. Quality thickness, rubber handles that dont get hot. Glass lid w rubber handle. My goto for bigger meals. i love it.

In fact this is the second Tramontina cooking pot I have purchased from Walmart as I need a second larger pot. They are well-made, of excellent quality and hold up consistently to almost daily use.  I expect many years if use from my Tramontina cooking pot.

easy to clean, great size for large batches. handled are sturdy. I wish they didn't put the brand name on a metal tag on the handle of the lid because it can be hotter than expected. great overall

This pot is not good stainless. After using only 2 times to boil water for iced tea, there are little rusty spots on the bottom and dark spots on the sides. the sides of the pot are also very thin. I have real stainless pots that are more than 50 years old that are heavy walled and spotless. they dont make them like they used to. this pot is overpriced.  I do not recommend.
