He loves the adventure and has no issue visualizing the story. When I gave him the book he proudly proclaimed it his favorite! I love sharing a joy of reading with him.

The mouse and the motorcycle

Great read for my nine-year-old grandson…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This classic story about a boy , a mouse  and a motorcycle was fun to read.  I read this out loud to my class and they really liked it.  A young boy is staying at a rather old hotel that has seen better days.  The boy discovers a talking mouse!  The mouse falls in love with the boy's motorcycle. Ralph the mouse gets into mischief trying to ride the bike.

Brrrrrrrgies the motorcycle

I got the very basic product for what I paid :)

Couldn't go wrong with a copy of 'The Mouse and the Motorcycle' which was first published 1965.

However, knowing I was buying a paperback print; didn't expect that it would definitely be the old newsprint-type of pulp paperback. Be aware that even the great illlustrations are more like grayprint.

This is not a softcover on white paper w/color illustrations. Therefore, even at 5.99 (my price) this was no bargain.

I've learned my lesson. A few dollars more with what I paid, would have been a better investment in a real book worthy of handing down to siblings & cousins. I'll keep this book as a reminder but will continue my membership with Amazon & BnN.

Very very BASIC edition :(
