[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one is a huge fan of race cars, dinosaurs, and remote controls so I knew she would absolutely love this!

The VTech Switch & Go Dinos Bronco arrived quickly after my order was placed. My daughter excitedly helped me unpack the car and busied herself with looking it over while I started to read the directions.

It was immediately evident that batteries were necessary - eight AA's, in fact - 6 for the car and two for the hand held remote. A minor setback that we quickly over came thanks to our supply of rechargeable batteries, but potentially a devastating factor for your little one if you don't have any on hand.

Once the batteries were in place the Dino was promptly put in motion as my daughter familiarized herself with the controls. The buttons are large and sturdy, both of which are ideal for little hands to maneuver with. The control mechanics are easy to learn and use, as well. While I was (still!) trying to read directions, my kindergartner was already giggling and trailing the cat around the house with her car.

Switching to Dino mode is not only seamless but impressive with how easily it transforms. The toy moves in all kinds of directions smoothly, with just a touch of a button. You can choose to go forward, backward, left or right in either mode. And for added fun you can activate the turbo boost! Guaranteed to catch your cat off guard!

Switch & Go Dinos Bronco comes with stickers that you can place on the car in 8 different areas. It also has an LCD display behind the vehicle's windshield. The toy features over 70 sounds and phrases, many of which are dinosaur facts that your little one will surely be echoing for days to come. Thankfully, VTech has also blessed us with volume control on this little beauty. And did I mention the lights? Not only are they bright and clear, but are absolutely essential when seeking out hidden kitties!

A few things to note. The Dino runs best on wood floors, low carpets, and tile. Thicker carpets will bog the toy down and only cause frustration. And even though the Bronco is marketed towards children, my teens (and even a few adults) enjoyed themselves taking it for a spin. In fact, there were many anxious moments waiting for turns! Also, as I mentioned earlier, it's absolutely imperitive that you make certain to have batteries on hand as they are not included with this item!

Kudos to VTech for raising the bar for other toy makers by producing the Switch & Go Dinos Bronco! My whole family loved it (including the cat, who was caught sleeping on it after my daughter went to bed)!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VTech Switch & Go Dinos Bronco the RC Triceratops is a great different toy for kids age 3-8. My 5 year old boy loves this toy and it his favorite by far. This RC toy is unique because no other RC toy can transform from a Dino to a Car by push of a button on the remote. He has other Vtech Switch and Go Dinos but all are manual , meaning they don't transform using batteries power and some were priced the same and this RC Dino/Car. On the negative note you need 8 AA batteries to run this toy and the 6 need for the car drain pretty fast, I would recommend using rechargeable batteries in this case. I also don't understand why the packaging box is so big when they could make one half the size and the toy would fit. My son loves how this RC transforms when he pushed the button on the remote. The remote also has a leveler that the kid moves it up and down until the dino/car says that the boost is charged and on the remote a led flashes meaning boost is ready and he/she can press the boost button on the remote and the car/dino will go faster. For steering the remote has a small steering wheel and a large arrows button to go forward or backwards. The driver of the car/dino can be also changed from the remote. If you get this toy for your kid it will be a guaranteed hit for sure!

Great different RC Toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product! What a fun toy! Easy to open and easy to understand directions. I was at first thinking this will be hard for a child to use. But I was wrong. I know this toy is not recommended for children under three years of age. But we had a time trying to keep my two year great grandson away from it. He was as excited about watching it as the older children were to be playing with it. The older children were so excited that they could make it do so many things and the daddy's had fun with it too. This Switch&Go Dinos machine was a hit with everyone. It was a hit with me to because I have had the pleasure of watching them playing it. I recommend this product 100%. Fun toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This VTech Switch & Go Dinos Turbo is wonderful, the children adore it as my son of 7 years old do. It is a perfect gift for Christmas or as birthday present to anyone. It is easy to use; its colors are brilliant and beautiful; its size is perfect. This toy is amazing for young kids from 3 years and up to the age they want to continue playing, exploring its background. The children could play with it everywhere, in its home, backyard, park, inside or outside, wherever the parent aloud to do it, the only warning is not to submerge in water because it could cause serious damages in the electronic device. It came with a remote control that fits in our kids hand, it transforms from an amazing speed racing car to a spectacular Tricerators dinosaur with only pressing a button, also the control has another small buttons that help to make several things like put over 70 wild sounds and phares, talk, change directions, headlight, illuminated turbo boast; it has a lever for turbo charge and a steering wheel for making more movements. This marvelous toy is made of plastic resistant materials, that prevent that the device get broken easily and that avoids to cause damages in other things or to another kid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This RC was very responsive. I was REALLY surprised how fast and quickly it took turns and went from forward to reverse. The car also goes from car to dinosaur really fast. The remote control is VERY easy to understand. The remote is all pictures so a young child can easily understand the actions. Some of the fun functions: changing the digital image driver (who talks and introduces himself); transforming the vehicle from car to triceratops or triceratops to car (talks and introduces whomever it is transforming to at the time); the turbo charging(reving the engine-again the driver narrates what is going on)-this feature the car stays still while you hear the engine rev..when you let go of the lever the car races off FAST- how fast depends on how long you let the engine rev. My third grade son REALLY liked this one. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought he'd play with it and help me give a boys review. However, honestly I thought he'd be a little old for it and would just get bored after a few minutes. Nope, he's played with it non-stop the past two weeks. Again for what I believe is intended as a first RC, you are getting a really responsive toy. The thing with responsive games and toys is we are actually helping with dexterity and hand eye coordination. Yep, this toy can actually help with those things while being fun. The toy does seem to be fairly well built. One problem is the front bumpers do tend to come off, the manufacturer is aware and has instructions in the box showing that they pop right back on. I think this is just do to the transforming design. The good thing, they pop right back on. As far as the actual look and feel of the design..I think the 3-6 year old set is going to love it and maybe even some of your 7-9 year olds. My son immediately commented on the appearance and likeness to certain "ranger" products and a certain "building brick" animal like TV show. The stickers included to customize the vehicle can make the vehicle look like a racer, or the two previously mentioned lines of toys/shows/products. Overall a great RC for the younger set, it appears to be made well, is easy to operate, has many modes of play, is great for the imagination, and the responsiveness promotes good hand eye coordination.

Great First RC-Surprised older kids liked it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you make sure to have 8-AA batteries on hand, you will have fun with this Vtech toy as soon as you take it out of the box! It does come with 3 sets of stickers to use for decorating your Bronco triceratops, but my grandson was in such a hurry to try out his first RC vehicle that he didn't bother putting them on. Perhaps he will later, or he might leave it as it is now.

The vehicle has two different channel settings in case you have more than one toy. You can put one on channel one and the other on channel two. Just make sure that both the remote control and the Bronco are on the same channel! Learning how to use the remote was really easy and soon my grandson had Bronco flying around the porch, chasing the dog and just having lots of fun.

Vtech really made a durable toy, as we found out when the dog decided to hunt down and catch the triceratops! He carried it around a few times and we had to chase after him to retrieve it. Even with that “ruff” treatment, Bronco survived just fine and was ready for more Transforming, Turbo Charging Fun! One thing you can't do with Bronco, is drive him on grass or uneven dirt surfaces. It gets stuck right away and has to be brought back to the porch or other clean, even surfaces.

Everyone enjoyed taking turns picking a driver, listening to the ‘talk' and transforming the dino!

Adorably cute Dino Fun for the entire family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 4 1/2 yr old grandson and he loves it! I put in standard batteries to see how long they would last, it's been 6 hours and still going strong. He loves the way it transforms easily. Weston and his 14 yr old brother are having a blast with it on the tile/wood floor. I don't know how well it works on carpet. After a few crashes into the wall and furniture, it's still in one piece!

The one thing that he does have a problem with is the controller. He is naturally left handed and had issues using the controller. With his right hand the 'turbo' lever on the bottom - he had to take his hand off the steering wheel to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest I only choose this Dino because I purchased Brok the Brachiosaurus for my godchild. Within minutes this kid was like wow…thank you aunty I love my Brac-key-o-saw-wist (his pronunciation). LOL. My 4 year old godchild knew what it was before I even told him…and while I fought with instructions as to how to operate….he already had it in driver mode and was trampling down the hall to scare his 3 year old cousin. Now with this addition to the family I know he gonna be thrilled…although he has to wait till Christmas to open it…yeah I know but he already got his gift placing 1st in class for reading and drawing…He can wait this one out. Now I need to stock up on bulk batteries because just as Brox I know for sure with Bronco his battery would not last the day…far less Christmas day when he get it and would want to introduce him to his Brac-key-o-saw-wist….I am definitely completing this collection for him.

Your Kid will be thrilled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why didn't they have these toys when my son and his friends were little boys! These are fantastic compared to the remote controlled cars, etc back in the day. I picked this as one of my review items to have for when my great niece visits us. She is so inquisitive and loves anything that may drive her parents crazy so I thought this would be perfect. I've decided that I may need to go and buy one for her father! The two of them will have a blast racing their respective dinos as well playing with the sound effects and especially when the dinos transform into cars and vice versa!

There are so many sound effects and different variations on the ways you can control these dinos that it will keep children and adults occupied for quite some time. The dinos travel pretty quickly anyway but when you pump up the turbo power they go even faster and are just a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend these as a unique gift idea or if buying them for your own family, I would say "Get two" so you can race or interact in dino mode. On the remote is two different channels so each dino has it's own signal. Lots of different ones to choose from. And well worth the price!

Loads of Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I really like this toy for my grandson who loves cars and dinosaurs. My grandson really loves it. I just really have two things I didn't care for. First is it takes six batteries, that's a lot especially if you have to keep replacing them. Second the car at times will stop working on the carpet so you just have to go and move it and it will work again. It can change from a car to a RC Triceratops dinosaur in the push of one button on the controller. The controller doesn't have any wires on it which is great for kids. It also has a round button that is the steering wheel which I like because it is easier to control how the car turns....like a mini steering wheel, LOL. The controller is super easy to control and made tough for kids, especially my grandson! It can go pretty fast if you want it too or you can just make it cruise. There are a lot of sounds. It sure does keep my grandson busy! It comes with three sets of stickers so you can design the car yourself and they are very easy to put on. I would definitely recommend this toy especially for boys who love cars and dinosaurs!
