I absolutely love this game. It's Mario, but innovative and even more fun. You can toggle between four different characters and different pixls with different abilities. The music is fun, and the text is hilarious. As someone who didn't own the older Mario's as a kid, I love this game. It's challenging, but not too challenging. Everything is possible and fun. I can't wait to beat it, so I can start it all over again to find what i missed!

Great game with a good story. Not a lot of jumping thank goodness, so its fun for all ages. If you get lost or don't know what to do next check on line there are web sites with hints and tips. The dialog is funny and entertaining, hours of game play....worth the price.

Fun for All

Paper Mario is an amazing game. It takes me back to the "old school" Mario games. I am having a blast! I recommend this game to people of all ages. Have fun with it...it's not complicated, by this I mean, anyone should be able to play it and enjoy playing it.

Love it!

This is my all-time favorite game. It is very action-packed. I can't get over how GREAT it is. GET IT, all ages (obviously not for toddlers, or those under the age of 6). Mario can easily change from a 2D view to a 3D view. That just amazes me! Also this game is very funny! When a diff. character is telling mario to go somewhere or tell him to do something the character will talk to us (the players) and say, "Click (A) to . . . (fill in the blank) . . . " and then Mario will be like, "What are you talking about? What (A) button" when they are talking about the game player. Gee, I wonder if the DS version is this good . . . I'll tell you that later!

AMAZING, 5 stars no matter what!

I bought this game because our previous Ninetendo system was a Super Nintendo from the early 90's. I wanted my 7 yr old to be able to easily switch from the Super Mario World game to a Wii Mario game. This is perfect for that. You are 2D most of the time, but use the 3D tool enough that you learn how to operate a Mario in 3D.

Good transition game!

I downloaded the older version off of the Wii console and thought it was great so I had to try this one. The flip-flop concept is a great brain-teaser and so much fun. There are a lot of humorous moments that will have you laughing til your sides hurt. Just try it, you'll love it.

Total Fun

I love this game because it has such a strong and well written story line. I also love how it always goes in depth with the story and how it has new characters and that they talk to each other. It seems like a movie except you play as one of the characters!

BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!

We grew up on the Mario Brothers Games and we've missed them dearly until now. We just bought a wii last week and purchased this game with it. We didn't buy any other games considering how much a wii alone cost and then 50 for the game.
Pros: Graphics are very good. Its a sit down game so its a change from the activity you usually do with other wii games. It has alot of old game features from back in the day. It gives you multiple things to do besides playing levels. Its a medium grade hard game. Tons more reasons to buy to.
Cons: Its very addictive with all the added things to do. Theres one part in the game called 100 trials that you have to beat without dying and its really hard. I wish it was two players like the old games.

Overall I would recommend this to any age and anyone who loves the old nintendo games.

Good Game for anyone

I bought this game for my girlfriend for christmas and she just can't quit playing. The game is awesome how you can change from a 2-D to a 3-D mode. She has taken time away from me playing the wii she likes it so much.

AWESOME

There IS a large amount of story and talking in this game but the story is entertaining and humourous at times. If you are impatient with that sort of thing buy Mario Galaxy. I would recommend both Mario titles. Paper Mario seems to require more problem solving than Galaxy but both are great fun.

Very Good WII Title

this game is horrible - the hour long story you have to sit through before you get to play was insufferable. the incessant talking between characters is painful. this game seems best suited for anyone with a long attention span that would prefer to read through a video game than actually play a video game. this game is nothing like the classic Mario games and not in a good way either. don't waste your time or money on this garbage.
