Six heat settings and stays on like they used to make them. Happy dance. It does have a two hour shut off if you choose also. Love the normal size pad verses the longer one as it does not fold over or crinkle behind my back.  And to top it off, it is soft plush whereas the older ones were just flannel like.

This a great little heating pad. I have lost count of how many we have worn out. 
We use these pads ourselves, but mostly we use them for the cats houses we have setup for all the strays outside in the winter to make sure they stay warm. They also last for a good amount of time. Great buy!

This is the absolute BEST heating pad EVER.  I use it every single nite.

Wonderful product

I bought this a month ago and am very pleased! I have a regular size pad and wanted a larger one. This size is great, when you lay on it, it fits your full back for comfort. I especially like the soft micro plus pad that is fully washable. The plastic heating pads are very uncomfortable and get too hot. This one is soft and heats up just right! You can really feel a difference when you lay on it! I would recommend trying this one out because of the feel and the length.

Learned of this product from my mom (who bought it first) and after trying it out decided I needed my own. Large size and soft, flexible material make this a great heating pad. The auto off timer option is another plus, It has 6 heat levels but I find #2 is plenty warm. Have been using for weeks. Since I tend to want the heat overnight, I can't wait until someone figures out how to offer a wireless alternative. Until then, I will use and enjoy this Sunbeam King Express Heat model.

So much to love about this pad - it's size, it's fully washable, it has six heat settings, it has an always-on option vs having to contantly turn it back on. So why three stars? I have eight of these pads, two bought each year over four years, and all but the brand new ones quit heating fully after about 1 1/2 years of daily use. What is a six now is about a two on the brand new ones. These are supposed to have a five year warranty but no one honors it. So I have six sigificantly reduced heat pads and two brand new ones that are awesome as the others used to be. These cost double to a comparable sized pad without always-on or fully washable, not a bargain. If these would be updated to last like new for the full five years of the so-called warranty, I'd buy them forever.

Fabulous heat and features - that don't last long

Me and my family have bought about 5 of these over the years. Every single one of them stopped working after a few months to a year. I love this heating pad and how the controls are set up, but I just wish they would last longer for as expensive as they are.

They all broke

After 2 uses, I plugged it in and attempted to turn it on only to get shocked because it sparked a short fuse. Smoke came from the electrical cords. It also never got hot enough. I may have had a faulty one, however I've had the brown one by sunbeam and it overheated and scorched but never did this. I caution you if you are considering this brand and product.

Not a Safe or Smart Purchase

seems so nice unboxing this. finally find one with the stay on feature. 6 different settings do not change whatsoever. same tiny amount of heat and its barely warm. something is wrong if this many ppl say the same this about this product. Sunbeam should send us all a different model and an apology for our troubles.

do not purchase this model defective

Within only 1 month of utilizing my heating pad. I noticed that the intensity of the heat had decreased and within days there after, a flashing F consistently showed and wouldn't disappear. I made multiple attempts to reset the device are instructed from the troubleshooting advice and to no avail , my  efforts continued to fail. I'm truly disappointed as I've been in pain and thermo therapy is imperative to mitigate the pain.

Highly disappointed! Do not recommend.
