Long story short – bought a house, didn't understand what a water softener was until a year and a half later, no salt was added for that entire time, and it was empty from the get-go. If you google what to do when you do not fill the brine tank full of salt It basically says after a month of being empty the resin tank is no good and a new one needs to be purchased. That's ~$1500. I found this product from a single youtube video. I used test strips before and after and look at the results! It actually worked. Technically, I flushed the resin tank twice with the stuff and those are the results shown in the picture. But even after once i tested it and it worked just as well. Thank you random YouTuber for showing me this.

I'm not sure what other people use this for but I use it for cleaning geodes. They're usually filthy and rusty when you split them but 24-48 hrs in this and they're gorgeous!

Our water is extremely hard and stinky and turns everything orange.  I have to use this weekly on my tub and every couple of days on my toilets and sinks.  
It is the only thing that seems to work the best!  I am very glad it comes in a spray bottle too.  O. The really tough stains I make a paste like consistency with s little water and the powder from the jug and brush it on the tub.  Walk away for 10-15 min or so and come back and rinse away!  Beautiful!  I wish you made some that wouldn't damage the metal fixtures.  It's impossible not to get it on the metal no matter how often I wipe it off.  Plus the fixtures get all rust covered too, and need cleaning

My son has been playing baseball for many years. we live in GA and I had the hardest time getting out the red mud we have here. His white pants were never white..
i asked one of the mothers how she kept her sons pants looking brand new and she told me about this product. That was about 7 yrs ago, Since then my sons baseball pants look brand new every game.

Best thing I've ever used

I use this all the time to get brown iron out of water in hot tubs, washers, dishwashers %26 the holding tank in toilets. It is safe for skin contact when diluted in water. The smell is only strong before putting in water. Do not breathe the fumes when opening the container. Haven't found anything else that comes close to comparing it to. Highly recommend. It's a little pricey but well worth it.

Great Product

this stuff works! being a rockhound, I was recommended 
to. use rust out to clean rocks and crystals. I decided to try it on a glass project im doing, boy, it is a time saver. Be careful to not inhale while pouring.

Best product for white clothes. Our water has a lot of not so good minerals that make the water brownish orange  color. Iron out takes care of that along with the inside of the dishwasher.

It didn't remove the rust stains on it's own.  I had to use a few Mr. clean magic erasers to scrub out the yellowing on all my dishes.

Worked

Well the spray bottle doesn't work!  I got about 12 squirts and the trigger was done! I tried to open the bottle to check the straw but it won't come off.  Took over half the day to clean my shower since I started using the first bottle.  The bottle won't spray downwards at all so forget using in toilet or tub base.  The product itself was pretty good. I did have to use a scour pad made for the tub and put some elbow grease into it.

Don't waste your time w/ sprayer bottle!

cant tell if this works better than spray n wash or oxy clean. It IS very dusky and makes you couch every use. you have to measure it out with a measuring cup. not provided. i only tried this due to having great results with their product Iron Out. A lot of this is needed per 1 load. So it went very fast making it not cheap. overall im not buying again.
