The sound is clear and good enough for everyday use, although for movies I prefer using a soundbar. The smart features work smoothly, and the interface is easy to navigate. The design is modern and fits perfectly in my living room. Overall, it offers great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it.

I love my tv a lot, I'm just not a fan of it lagging sometimes and the remote kind of stops working then will work fine after a couple minutes. Other than that it's great quality, i've mounted this in my bedroom and there's really no need for a sound bar.

Affordable and Decent

Purchased in December 2025. Very belle definition of the image. Ignition is done at the channel Samsung from which it is impossible to change the directives of the guide and the instructions specific to Samsung. Very few input or output jacks for a TV of this price. It is possible to find better for the price.

Television with limited functionality.

Samsung Canada

This television has two fundamental defects in its firmware. The first is that it does not support manual channel tuning. If a channel does not meet the receiver's internal signal strength threshold (not settable), the user can't tune the receiver to that channel. For pulling in a weak signal with an antenna it is imperative to be able to tune the receiver to that channel while observing the signal strength meter and adjusting the antenna for optimal signal. Also, as a fundamental principle, all receivers should be tunable throughout their band of operation, but this one automatically decides what signals it can see and prohibits the user from looking anywhere else. This is obviously a "smart" feature, but it isn't smart, it is stupid.

I spent a couple of hours with Samsung on their helpline on two occasions. They were not helpful and insisted there was nothing wrong with their television. Their technical support people demonstrated ignorance of basic principles of radio communications. One of their support agents suggested that I contact my "antenna service provider". I had to explain for the third time in the call that an antenna is a passive device that receives broadcast electromagnetic waves and that I am my own "antenna service provider". 

It would appear that in favour of polluting a product with internet based "smart" features they have degraded the RF performance of the device and created an operating system that is user hostile for those few of us that still receive vhf wireless television.  The television does have a signal strength meter, but is is well buried at the sixth level of menu options and therefore awkward to access. The RF performance is substandard and when connected to the same antenna this receiver finds fewer channels than an older LG TV.

The second fundamental defect is that the operating system can only be updated with a newer version. One of the technical support agents suggested that I download a previous version of the operating system because in her system, she could manually set a channel. I tried her suggestion, but it didn't work, so in the second lengthy call to their support line where I had to repeat all of what I went through in the first call, I was informed that there is no way to roll back an operating system. One can only "upgrade" the operating to a newer version, so even though at one time Samsung did support the feature of manual channel tuning, they have programmed their firmware so that a user can never go back.  

Based on the user hostile nature of the operating system of this television  and the obtuse dismissive responses of the support agents, I will never buy another Samsung product.

One final note is that I mean no disrespect to Walmart. Walmart was very accommodating in accepting a return of the television and in providing a prompt refund. Five stars to Walmart. Samsung deserves 0.
