[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are two publishers can instantly come to mind when you hear the two words: "Gaming" and "Quality" especially when it comes to selecting games to localize. Back in the day, thankfully, we had Working Designs and proof of that statement is trying to find ANYTHING published by them. (SPOILER ALERT!!!!) Theyre really expensive because they werent as well appreciated then and so their software is, hence rare and expensive.

Its worth noting that neither of these publishers are actually developers, no, their goal is to hunt down Japanese games they feel would translate well to the Western audience and sell well in this part of the world and thats why Working Designs (then) and their equivalent today (XSeed) are so good and vital we support them, otherwise, these games are left in Japan. Its really that simple and not much on this game has to be said, all you have to know is it comes from XSeed and thats awesome!

If you require a little more about the game itself, whixh you really shouldnt, it feels like an old school Super Nintendo or SEGA CD kind of game but in high res, obviously. Its not going to be a huge seller which is a shame, bit a secret for those who know games and collect them that this could be one of those games people will regret having not played sooner and by then, maybe, an expensive collectors item. Its hard to tell, but people felt the same about Working Design games in that time, a weird Japanese type game but, again, look at what theyre going for today. Its an RPG-Adventure type game with very Japanese colorful graphics, simple, but simple is sometimes better. Those who have played the game wont talk about the story and for good reason, who wants the story spoiled?

All you have to know is XSeed means quality. If youve never played an XSeed, or Working Designs, game, what a diservice. Take a gamble and give one if their games a try. One series XSeed is best known for these days is the Y's Series evangelized by the HappyConsoleGamer. That series today, comes from XSeed. XSeed equals gold.
