This powder is lightweight and does a good job controlling shine , especially in warm weather ! 
It gives a natural matte finish without looking heavy or cakey ! 
However, it can highlight dry patches , so it’s better for oily or combination skin ! 
Overall, a great affordable option for everyday use!

Have repurchased this a few times now and is one of my go too face powders. I like to apply it with a powder puff after doing the rest of the base. Lasting power is pretty decent. (Make sure your base it done properly with the right prep to avoid creasing). Great for a matte look and perfect for summer. Sometimes I also like to swipe it with a brush and lightly apply it to face for a more natural look too. Doesn’t feel heavy in the face and covers everything pretty well.

Pressed powder✨

I am 57 years old and I think I have tried almost every pressed powder out there (drugstore and high end).  Rimmel is not only my favorite, but it is also the least expensive.  I have combination skin and this does not settle in lines or look cakey.  I’ve used this on and off for 20 years…I ALWAYS come back to this powder.  The ONLY thing I don’t like about it is the packaging.  The lid always invariably breaks.  I wish Rimmel would come out with a nice, durable compact and sell refills.

The Perfect Pressed Powder

This stay matte powder is a great powder. I used it for a very long time and it worked so well at keeping my face oil free and making sure my makeup stayed out all day. It is a nice smooth texture and doesn't make my face look cakey at all if I add it on top of other makeup. It adds a nice smooth finish. It controls the shine and makes my makeup look great. There is no scent which I prefer, especially with a powder. If you are needing a good powder this one is a great option.

Great staying matte powder!

I've used this powder for a long time. I typically use the translucent one so there's no pigmentation. It's a pressed powder and consistency is not very fine in my opinion. Doesn't have much of a scent and the packaging is cheap but does the job. 
It seems to perform well for the price but there are other powders that work better for me.

A handy make up staple

I am sooo devastated. Found this powder last year, and instantly became obsessed! It used to be extremely easy to use, and had the most blurring airbrushed finish. Not to mention the only powder that matched my skin complexion perfectly. I wish I had known they were changing the formula because I would have stocked up on the old one. The new formula just isn't as good unfortunately. The colour oxidizes and Makes me look orange, and the formula just isn't the same.

I would rate it zero stars if that was an option. I have been using this powder for 20 years and the new formula is awful!! It is greasy feeling and cakey on my oily areas of my face. I have oily skin and this formula has been my go to for all these years and now I am forced to look else where because I can no longer wear this. It is just terrible!!!

New formula Failure

I have used this powder as long as I can remember (I started wearing makeup religiously at 13 and am now 42). I wear the transparent shade every day as my only face coverage (I can't wear foundation as my skin is an oil slick). I buy a ton of them and always have backups. I recently purchased six more units and have started to use the first one and could not understand why my skin was looking so terrible! Shiny, but not in a good way, every single line and texture amplified, patchy and discolored...I must have double checked the color on the powder daily, and just ugly and impossible to blend. I just happened to come across a video on IG about formulation charges and lo and behold, check this site, and folks are seeing the same (thank goodness...I thought my skin had just suddenly decided to look 42!!). But I am throughly saddened that my go-to had changed. I rate 1 star because right now, it's unusable. And I have SIX of them!

I have been using this matte powder for years!!!! The last one I purchased, I noticed a huge change, and not for the better!!!! Looks whiter, shinier, my lipliner won't even stay on over it.....just horrible. I am so sad. I will be looking for a new matte powder. You had a great product, for those of us who liked the "matte" setting powder. It even feels weird on my face, actually makes me look older. So sad.

The new formula is horrible, won't buy again

I've used this powder exclusively for a decade, at least, and have always loved it, but since the formula has changed, I can no longer say that. This powder used to glide on, feeling matte and dry, and kept my face shine free all day. The one I recently purchased is terrible. It goes on feeling slick and greasy, and certainly didn't look matte on my skin. I had heard that the formula was changed but didn't believe it. Now I do. Please, please stop trying to fix what wasnt broke and return to the former formula. I really can't see this change helping the company bottom line, as long-term customers, such as myself, are now force to look elsewhere for a matte powder. It was perfect the way it was!
