Don't listen to the haters.....this is a well made system which looks and plays great. Games look awesome in high def and they play as they should. The only negative I would say is that the controller cords are a bit short (depending how your room is set up). You can buy an extension cable online for a few dollars if this is an issue for you.

Why is this still 80.00

The PSC was a massive failure commercially for Sony. The original launch price was far too much, the game line up wasn't the greatest, performance of the games wasn't tweaked, some of the games were released in PAL versions for North American release, it didn't include a power adapter, controllers were not dual shock.

However, due to recent price reductions the system might be worth it for some. It has an active community working to improve this system every day, many if the initial problems have been resolved with simple modding. It is small and portable, with comparable system specs to a Raspberry Pi 3 B+. Build quality is great and comes with two good quality older style USB PS1 controllers, which can be used even on a PC. An excellent little system for retro gaming with very nostalgic aesthetics.

If you can get it at a good price, it is a good system overall, but not for everyone.

Good hardware, poor execution by Sony

If you're just looking to play some games then this is fine. The choice of games aren't the best but there are some great ones on it, some games I know I'll never play. The PAL games, well honestly, I can't tell that they play slower than the NTSC ones so it's fine for me. If you're very techy, picky and a nitpicker, this console is not for you. If you're more laid back and just want to play a couple of fun games, plug this in and have fun.

I only bought this because the price went way down, if I had to recommend a classic system I'd tell you to hunt down a NES or SNES classic.

Not as bad as everyone says

The console would be great if there were more games. Only 20C is not enough. Too bad.

Not enough games

I thought at least will have the same image quality, is ok for the kids but the quality seems like was copied from images from the 90s as well. A bit disappointed

Not impressed

PlayStation enters the mini retro console fad with a huge miss with this release.

They chose to use the least liked version of their controllers; the ones without thumb sticks. This limits the games you can play and how you can play them.

The library of games is pretty big but not all of them are good and there are too many iconic PSX games missing from the line up.

The console runs on the PCSX ReARMed emulator which is known for it's poor support of game emulation.

Poor features and cheaply made.
