I ordered this stoneware crock so that I would have a place to water glass my free range eggs.  It arrived safely because it was packed well.  It arrived on time.  It is very heavy and also very heavy duty.  I already have my eggs in it.  I know I will be using this crock for years into the future.  Very happy with my purchase.

I love the crock! My grandmother always used a crock for making lots of goodies and now I have my own. The crock was well packaged and arrived in perfect shape! The crock has the same look as my grandmother's did which makes me happy!  The crock is well made, very sturdy and should last me a lifetime! I would definitely buy again!

Heavy and well made crock!

I liked that my item came in early. This looks like a sturdy piece. I knew ahead of time it didn't include the lid from reading reviews. The item pics makes you think it's included though. 
I was surprised with the size! It works perfect for me but know that it's very big. I think the 1 gallon would work for most
