Just because a carrier (e.g. ATT or T-Mobile) services your area, this does not mean they provide unlimited high-speed data. Their normal data plans are geared towards occasional phone use and are not for wideband (e.g. cable) replacement. Search "Best 4G Home Internet Providers" for understanding what is available before you buy a modem: Phone carriers severely limit high speed data: They will cut back you speed dramatically after a small amount of use. 5 stars because this is not the fault of the device.

I bought this because I can't get WiFi where I live bought this so I could use my tv and it's amazing! Would buy again and my neighbors are buying one since they seen mine.

Good Buy

Had this for over a year now! This is the best LTE modem so far! This works extremely well with t-mobile and AT&T! Being a computer tech I would highly recommend this! However I wish there was a option to completely turn off 3G when it loses signal. That way if the LTE cell tower crashes for a minute you don't have to manually fix it.

I was real skeptical about buying this because I wasn't sure if it would work,but after getting everything set up it works like a charm. Highly recommended

The best investment ever made

The modem functioned quite well, as if it was connected to the cable companies internet service. The Net Gear modem is connected to my wi fi ARRIS cable modem - router. A lot of time was wasted figuring out that the Netgear modem only works in the router setting, not the bridge setting with this configuration of hardware. The data rates with 4G LTE are far too high with my current internet provider, so for know at least, the Net Gear modem will function as back-up to cable internet unil a lower cost data plan can be found. Otherwise a 5 star rating would be made.

4G LTE modem comments.

I haven't even had this modem for a month and it already isn't working anymore. And for this price? It's ridiculous.

DO NOT ORDER

Works fine in router mode, but in bridge mode, which is what I bought it for, it continuously drops the LAN connection and goes through the process of reconnecting.

Does not work in bridge mode.
