I've tried all the “latest and greatest” mascaras, but I always come back to Maybelline Great Lash—it's a classic for a reason! The Blackest Black shade is bold and rich, and the formula goes on smoothly without clumping. It gives my lashes great definition and just the right amount of volume without feeling heavy or flaky.

I also love that it's washable—it comes off easily with makeup remover but stays put all day without smudging. For the price, you just can't beat it. If you're tired of overhyped mascaras that don't deliver, this is the tried-and-true winner!

Old School, But Still the Best!

I have used Maybelline Great Lash Curved Brush Washable Mascara, Blackest Black for as long as I've used mascara...for decades! I can't remember using any other mascara -- perhaps another Maybelline Great Lash mascara. I like the curved brush (i also use an eyelash curler). It's just right for me: not too much or too little; I don't feel the need to try other mascaras.

Best mascara for me

There is a reason that maybelline has been making this mascara for ages - it is tried and true staple.  Admittedly, I have tried others over the years and while some of them are great, none of them seem to meet the quality for the price.  
I do often swich which version I purchase (curved applicator, thicker applicator, etc).  
I seem to always come back to the brand....

Great basic mascara

I did a review for another new Maybelline product that I'm not too crazy about, but this Great Lash mascara has been my favorite since I was a young person and still is.  I've tried so many others  in between and have kept going back to this one.  I look for the pink and green package when purchasing.   This is the only one I will buy.  Now, if Maybelline would just bring back some of my other faves, that would be great!

Mascara...simple and does the job.

Maybelline Great Lash has been my go-to mascara for my entire adult life. I love it's consistency. It is easy to apply, without clumping or flaking. Great stuff!

This is the best mascara on the market.  Maybelline great lash washable mascara is the only one I can use near my sensitive eyes.  

I have tried other more expensive brands and nothing compares to Maybelline great lash mascara.

Best Mascara

I've tried a lot of different mascara BUT this is the only one that doesn't flake later in the day and hurt my sensitive eyes. Please don't change it!

I was tired of buying high-priced mascara that always clumped. So, I decided to revisit the 70s and purchased what we all used in high school. And guess what? It's still as great as it was back then—just a little bit more expensive, but not by much.

The same amazing mascara

Ordered the Waterproof and was given the washable instead. I used to use this along time ago for years and it wasn't as messy as it is now and i didn't have to try to multilayer it to show eyelashes, doesn't work well . It smears a lot specially in hotter weather. Don't recommend this. Maybelline Volume Express The Falsies is a better deal.

Disappointed in Maybelline Great Lash Washable

Wanted a cheap mascara for on the run and this is an oldie but goodie for most. However, it barely coats the lashes, isn't very buildable and creates no volume. Very disappointing. Would've been better off spending the extra few bucks on a different brand.
