I wanted an oversized mailbox, because I like my mail person and want to show her respect!!  It's a beauty and heavy duty, but the dimensions did not match the advertisement!!  No problem though, cause Walmart took it back!!

The only issue with this Stanley large mailbox is that the door does not close completely without an intentional bump when closing.  The mailman sometimes does not give the door enough of a bump upon closing and the door may remain open all day

I was looking for a large mailbox that would hold the mail if I was away for a while, and would hold packages. This mailbox was close to half the price of others I looked at, and I like the traditional "farm mailbox" style that I remember from when I was a kid. If anything, I would have preferred it to be bare galvanized steel, but in black, it matches the others in my neighborhood (though they are puny in comparison!).

Large Mailbox, Low Price

this is the perfect size mailbox if you're looking for an upgrade. as someone who works for the post office I can tell you that your carrier very much appreciates when you have mailboxes this size, it allows them to more efficiently deliver your mail when they are able to put your letters magazines and packages into the mailbox instead of having to come to your front door. this mailbox is a fantastic size and it is great quality. I bought this one for my parents for Christmas but the last one I bought I have had up for 6 years and shows absolutely zero signs of wear and tear. I definitely recommend this mailbox for anyone who was looking for an upgrade.

Nice box, but doesn't stay closed unless you crimp the door with plyers to make it fit tight to the box.

My problem with both Walmart and Amazon are third party vendors. It is hard to know if the merchandise is real or a knockoff. For example a Hakko FX-********* can be a knockoff and now there are videos helping one authenticate  product.

These look nice and are BIG. the postal carrier actually even sent a thank you note as they can now leave bigger packages in the box and don't have to drive up to the house. We'll see how they do over the winter with the snow plow etc.

Cheaper than buying in any other store of Amazon.  I saved about $15 dollars as opposed to Lowe's and $10 had I bought it from Amazon.   Nice job Walmart!

Best bargain compared to other retailers.

This would have been the perfect xl box if it wasn't all dented! Definitely wasn't happy when we pulled it out of the box and both sides were dented, one worse then the other! Wasted time having to bring it back for a return and of course none left in store. Had to buy the large one but at least it wasn't all dented up. Really wish people would stop throwing boxes, so there would be much less returns! Stuffs not cheap and people order online to save time but no time saved if you have to do returns.
