I've been using the Galaxy DX‑959B in my truck for a little while now, and it's quickly become my favorite CB. The blue frequency and channel display is super easy on the eyes, especially at night, and the backlit faceplate makes it simple to see and adjust everything without fumbling around. The controls feel solid, not cheap, and the layout is straightforward enough that you don't have to be a radio expert to get it set up and talking. Audio is clear on both transmit and receive, and once I tuned the antenna, the performance has been very consistent. Overall, this radio looks great, works exactly the way it should, and feels like it'll last a long time. I'm really happy I picked it up at Walmart.

Now I need a new one, this time for local Base-to-Mobile in a hilly area, so my first choice for mobile is the 959, 'cause it has Upper %26 Lower Sideband and AM.  I use a Galaxy 2547 at the Base Station.

Now, I need SSB
