I followed the instructions as to plug red connector into red connector and upon doing so after a few minutes of turning the vehicle key on I could see some smoke, it was coming from the tap shifter in a bulky area by the red connector under the hood, I unplugged it from my vehicle and it was still smoking so I opened up part of the protective shroud to make sure the item wasn't catching fire more, it was smoldering still for a bit on a chip board in one spot so I left it unplugged and removed it putting it aside. 
Made sure it was cooled and no long smoldering and sent the item back for a refund. Im now waiting to see if Walmart decides In my favor or the sellers on a refund. Hopefully they can contact fleece performance and get it sorted on their end and hopefully I can be refunded.

Defective item so couldn't fully review.
