Very much like this tent, while it didn't rain on our camping trip I'm pretty sure we would have remained dry. With a bathtub style floor and a full rainfly it's awesome.  And the vestibule in the front is great for your shoes and extra items and keeps dirt out of your sleeping area.

Having the waterproof entryway space on this tent is a game-changer! It helps to keep everything organized and maintain a clean sleeping area. This tent is a bit harder to put together if you are short. I also recommend placing tape on the polls to mark the center point for the clips, as you may need to unclip and reclip a few times.

I love this tent!

The tent was a wedding gift for my daughter an her future husband. They loved it!! They enjoyed the extra space as it is an upgrade from their last tent. They fit comfortably with their dog sleeping in the tent. She said the screen tent on the front was a game changer.

Happy Campers

We really like this tent!  It was easy to put up and take down. The front screened area is super nice for coolers, shoes, etc. We do wish it had a window on the back wall for when the rain fly is on. Easily fits a double cot and so good to be able to stand up in it. Great purchase!

Roomy tent!

It was easy to set up.  No guessing where the poles go and no more running the poles through sleeves.  Defiantly love the new panels on the front porch area.  Looking forward to using it in some more wetter weather.

Upgrade of the Evanston style tent

I really love this Colman skydom tent. But it has one major drawback for me. The setup is incredibly easy, which is a huge plus when you're at the campsite, the materials are durable, and the ground sheet feels solid. However, the space and height are where I struggle, even though I am only 5 feet 1.I still have to bend my head down to walk inside.Which is very painful because of my existing back and neck issues.My husband has the same problem.The poles and capacity are great for a group but I really wish the center height was taller.So we wouldn't have to hunch over if you have backed problems or need to stand fully upright, you might want to look at a taller model.But if you don't mind the lower ceiling, it's a high quality.Beautiful tent.

We finally got use this tent over the weekend. I am impressed. It stormed on us every day, even had quarter size hail on Saturday. The screen room did get water in it, user error, the zippers need to be completely zipped and “pushed outward” then no water will come in. The room was great for taking off shoes covered in sand and mud, thus no sand or mud inside the sleeping area. The sleeping portion of the tent stayed completely dry. Plenty of room, and all the pockets are great!

Held up to high winds, rain, and hail

This tent is great! Assembly is easy, even after a tough day hiking. The vestibule is great for storage and extra space for changing. We were able to stay dry during a quick rain sprinkle. Surprisingly we can all stand up in the tent! There is plenty of pockets inside for phones/ flashlights during the night. Hopefully many more trips with this tent.

Easy assembly

Preattached poles were not pre attached.  And the directions were horrible to try and figure out.  I dont know if those poles are supposed to stay where they are, how it goes away, etc.  It took WAY more than 5 mins to assemble those massive long pokes and figure out which clips tgey go in.

I believe this is a counterfeit item. There is a misspelling on the outer packaging, as well as areas of shoddy craftsmanship. The corner reinforcements are wonky and peel up if you wipe them. There were some quality issues with some external stitching as well. 

I contacted the company about the misspelling when I received the item. They asked me to send a photo, which I did. They responded quickly, told me to contact Coleman, and sent a survey about the customer service experience. I hadn’t noticed the quality issues at the time because I just had the opportunity to set it up. When I clicked on the survey, it gave me the option to say if I was or was not satisfied. I chose was not satisfied, and was redirected to a page telling me the case was closed. I was unable to state why I was dissatisfied. I wrote an email to the thread I’d been talking to previously, but haven’t had a response yet. (I only did it recently so I’m not complaining about the response time yet.)

I don’t recommend this item because even if it isn’t counterfeit, and is genuine Coleman, it is put together poorly and has a design flaw that allows water to enter the front of the tent where the screen porch closes.
