Do it all with one light. The PX19R, equipped with COAST PURE BEAM optical technology, shines with versatility. Transition seamlessly between two beam shapes using the TWIST FOCUS system to meet your moment. The Ultra View Flood Beam shines a flawless circle of light with edge-to-edge clarity and the BULLS-EYE Spot Beam shines a bright hot spot surrounded by a softer halo of transitional light for an expanded total viewing area. Had bought one before.  Both work very well.  Very brigh on high setting, but usually juse it on one of the two lower settings.  Prolongs battery life.  Wish it would give morre warning before the battery runs out of juice.  Much prefer this design where you actually charge the batttery rather than having a port on the flaslight body.  My experience with other flashlights is that the plastic cap covering the port breaks off and  then in short order the port itself no longer works because of exposere ot contamination.

Not tested extensively but seems to operate quite well. Only slight negative is that you need to go through all 3 higher brightnesses (incl Turbo) to get to Low which is more that bright enough for most purposes and runs, per specification, for 30 hours. However I think most people that buy this flashlight do so for the higher output modes. Focus operation better than most. Backup to allow use of AAA cells (incl NiMH) very useful to keep operating while recharging provided Lithium cell.

I've been a long-time fan of Coast products, never disappoints, always a quality product…and in the few times I have contacted them-they always come through. I also consider them to have reasonable prices because of the quality. Though I do have their headlamps, flashlights, other lights…I just had to have the PX19R. Why not? And it too is great with such a bright light for such a small unit. A winner.

I wish we had more power outages! I am prepared.

I recently ordered a PX19R flashlight from Coast.  It arrived 'defective', would only function in turbo mode. I went through the warranty process and Coast immediately replaced it.  No problem at all.  (Both shipments were fast - they both arrived the 2nd day after order.)  This flashlight is, quite simply, the best.   It's not huge, it's easy to hold and operates very nicely.  I've not seen the 'touch thing' before.  You touch the switch lightly to get a preview of the power, touch lightly again for the next option and finish with a stronger push to select one. The beam is sharpened or broadened easily with a twist.  It's reasonably sealed.  It's clearly, by feel alone, a high quality product.   But best of all is all the light!

I ordered the PX19R because it's powered with the ZX955 (21700) battery.  These things are serious.  I have 8 of them.  They also power 2 other lights I got from Coast.  I have, roughly, 20 lights from Coast in total - mostly headlamps I've upgraded over the years as they've gotten stronger.   (All but 1 still work, despite very serious abuse out duck hunting.)  My old headlamps all use AAs or are rechargeable.  But this big 21700 battery is a game-changer.  My XPH34R headlamp, which uses this same battery, is the best headlight I've ever had, or even ever seen.  I use it every night walking the dog.  I think 2 of them could light a football game on turbo.  So it's also powered by the ZX955, as is my EAL18 lantern.  When I'm out hunting or camping,  I can use the same battery with these lights, much like my Ryobi tools - or other lines that allow multiple tools to use the same battery.  By the way, these ZX955-powered lights all take standard batteries too, AAs and the EAL takes 4xD. They come with a battery holder that you need to keep track of if you would choose to use standard batteries.  Except I'll just grab another ZX955.  These batteries are easily recharged with their built-in USB-C connections.  Charge them in your car, charge them anywhere.  I honestly don't know how long they last - they've never quit on me.  4000mAh is a lot of juice.  They're so easily recharged, I just keep 'em charged up.  Hopefully, that will prolong their lifetimes?

I'm sold on Coast.   I'm sold on this battery.  Tip: catch Coast at the Sportmans Show if you can to get seriously good deals on very high quality products.

PX19R  - first class

I use this light daily in my job as an AMT and it literally shines in every use. I like the multiple levels of light and it is sturdy enough that it's fine if it falls off the ladder, etc. decent size light but not too big. Definitely not small though. Medium I'd say

The light is bright at 2600 lumens but I don't need all the rest of those switches just adds to the cost just give me one button 2600 lumens I want bright when I press the button I don't need dim dim and dimmer 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 how many words do I have to put down to finish this. You want too much for review when will this end 50 words where's my minimum come on end this

Bright light, decent battery life.    Great warranty service.     Easy to charge except that battery has to be removed

Great flashlight I own 4

Pros:  Great quality very solid, very bright, small flashlight.  

Cons: does not remember the last used brightness level.  It always defaults to medium power.  I would prefer my old coast light that remembered the brightness level.  Also, you have to physically remove the rechargeable battery to charge it.  My old coast light had a usb port built in so I could leave the flashlight intact for charging.  Much more convenient.
