My children played with this item so I want to bring back memories and new ones

Fisher Price recorder...A mini babysitter

This recorder is very nice, but the price for me is to higher

Somehow I missed that this does not play real tapes. i thought "play" meant that it was suitable/geared for children to use and the photo of the cassette included added to my confusion. I wanted a tape player suitable for my grandaughter to play her parent's old audio tapes. To anyone else searching for the same, this is NOT the item you want!

It's not what you may be thinking

The recording is internal memory.  Tape is pointless.  Quality sucks as terrible scratchy screeching feedback.

Not like my childhood one at all

This was a disappointment.  It's very loud and ackward in size. It only plays the accompanying tape. The tape only has a few songs and they don't play very long. Needs to play regular tapes.

Do not recommend as was a disappointment.

Be carfull its in samall letters- it does not play real cassettes.

Very misleading, this does not play regular size cassettes.  Had to return.

Dissappointing

This is not a Fisher-Price tape recorder.  It doesn't play real tapes, just the one included, which is pre-programmed--the songs are actually digital.  It actually records through the microphone, which my granddaughter did like, but the sound quality is awful.

Bitterly disappointed
