I love this coffee pot. My husband and I get up at different times the coffee stays hot. I set it the night before , it comes on and is made before I even wake up. I have enjoyed it. I know there are more expensive machines out there, but this one works perfectly and it's a good price.

Great price Great Quality

Have had this Black and Decker Coffeemaker for a couple weeks and so far it's great. Very easy to use, quiet while brewing and the carafe keeps the coffee nice and hot for at least 3 hours. The coffee also tastes great. Only thing I would prefer is if the little information screen was backlit as it is a little hard to read in low light. Not a big deal at all, just my preference. The price was also very reasonable compared to comparable products. Would definitely recommend.

-  clock/timer display is unlit and really hard to read. tiny tiny "pm" in upper right corner.

Does a good brew

Stop reading the negative reviews posted by consumers that are just miserable beings. This coffee maker is right on point! If you have experience with a  thermal carafe, this maker is for you. If you continually write negative reviews to get something in return, stay away from this maker, due to it needing a bit of common sense. BUY IT NOW!

People Suck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for a Black and Decker coffee maker which is several years old. It is used every day but is starting to have issues. We got good service with this coffee maker and decided to replace it with another Black and Decker appliance.

I like how there are never any grounds in my coffee compared to the one i bought a few yrs ago.  My only complaint ? It's taller than the ones they used to make so it doesn't fit under my cupboard anymore!!! So irritating!!!! and $77 for a stainless steel carafe coffee maker is outrageous.

The coffee ground holder was cracked, we tried using it the way it was, but it continued to fall apart, so it is unusable.  Im sure it was destroyed during shipping.

This is our 3rd time purchasing this product, I'm hoping that we can get this part replaced so we can use this product.  These are my favorite coffee makers.  Everything else was in great condition.

It made a good cup of coffee.  But I bought specifically when family/friends come for a larger quantity of coffee to serve.  This looked great as a stainless steel pot would certainly provide for a group and stay hot!  Unfortunately the description did not tell me that the coffee does not stay hot.  In just 1/2 hour is luke warm.  The plate that the pot sits on does not heat at all, so the pot itself is the only thing that keeps the coffee hot!  The little booklet says to run hot water into the pot first to warm the inside of the pot.  That's a real pain to go through all that AND it made no difference.  The coffee turned barely warm within a 1/2 hour.  The description and the video I watched before I bought it was very misleading.

Not a good buy!

We purchased this as we currently have a coffee pot with a thermal carafe and love it, but it has started leaking from the tank and cannot be repaired. After making coffee several mornings, trying different amounts of coffee, using the "strong" button, etc. , we returned this coffee maker for a refund. Never had a good cup of coffee and the carafe did not even keep the coffee hot enough for the second cup. Truly, the first cup barely stayed warm to finish it, so I don't think the coffee gets that hot to begin with. They do recommend preheating the carafe with warm water, but that really defeats the purpose of using a timer. It's a shame - had high hopes as it is a nicely designed machine, but we were disappointed.

You're better off buying a cheap 20$ Mr. Coffee maker machine/ or similar model than this unit : temperature doesn't get hot enough to brew flavor- full coffee %26 the stronger button does nothing to help ( except take twice as long to brew watery coffee ! ) .  In my holiday rush, threw out the box ... otherwise would've returned as defective !
