Literally the only pencils I will use, I bought a single pack like 8 months ago and it finally broke so i purchased these, arrived a little late but totally worth it. really comfortable and smooth, I wrote chemistry notes for 3 hours and my hand didn't feel bad at all unlike with other pencils.

The grip on the pencil is also great and makes for a smooth writing experience.  This is now my go to mechanical pencil.

The writing quality is superb. They write dark and clear on a variety of types of paper. They include refills and spare erasers too. I like how comfortable and easy these are for writing. They has a no slip grip perfect for accurate and strong writing ability. They have strong points that are tough, and don't break easily. My daughter is definitely ready for back to school. I am quite impressed with this great product.

Pencil Perfect

I have 3 school aged boys and they absolutely loved using these pencils. The lead wrote easily with ally of force unlike some other pencils where my sons would get frustrated because they would have to push and the lead would break. I like that the package comes with additional lead and erasers. Having a little one, he makes mistakes and the eraser always goes quicker than the lead. Nice to have extra erasers. The pencil also has a nice smooth grip to help smaller hands to hold it easily.

That way i am never fumbling for something to write with it's always there! It is great because the eraser has a cover and the lead retracts so there is no mess! These pencils were great for traveling. The kids were using them for drawing, writing stories, filling out Junior Ranger Booklets at National Parks, and I was using them for my logic puzzle books and crosswords! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using BIC Velocity mechanical pencils for a month, I feel I've gotten a very good idea of their quality and worth. I have used them myself, my children have used them to complete their homeschool assignments, and my students have used them during tutoring. They're very sturdy, with excellent quality lead and fantastic little erasers that erase cleanly. My children and students love picking out which color they want to use. They sell for a reasonable price, so I'm not worried when one goes missing. I've only found one problem with the pencils that has appeared in every single one we've used. The metal base where the lead comes out doesn't stay put. It pushes back up inside the shaft of the pencil when pressure is applied. It appears to be a technical design flaw, but it makes those pencils unusable. I'd love to continue using these pencils when they correct this flaw.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were just like any other type of mechanical pencil. There wasn't anything really special about these. They work and write and hold up just like any other brand pencil does. They came in basic colors, rainbow. I looked at them in several different stores and they are just basic color. They could have came in neat exotic colors or patterns. They could have changed the shape where your fingers rest. The best part was the extra erasers and led. You never have enough of that. Come on BIC get creative, add some new color and style. Make a potential buyer love these with new patterns or designs like marble, ty dye, neon colors or houndstooth.

Basic pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although these pencils are fun colors and attractive to kids - I really dislike the waste of lead that happens - you see, like most kids - my children use the eraser almost as much as the pencil.  And when they press the eraser down on the paper - oops!  The lead just keeps growing out of the pencil.  There must be some better design!  I ended up having to remove the erasers from all the pencils before they used them again.
