It was a perfect buy. This cooker has a modern design and versatile functions. Definitely a good choice for 9-5 working people. Easily to set up the delay for rice cooking and desired time for slowing cooking. It works well so far

Got it because of the micom and that it was multi-functional. I like brown rice and it is a pain to cook it on the stove or in the microwave. I also like other whole grains. I just got it and cooked brown rice in it several times already and one frozen crock pot meal. Now as a slow cooker it cooked it way faster than the package recommended. It is smart and did not burn or ruin the dish. It turned itself off, because it was ready in just an hour not 8 hours. So, I recommend you not use the slow cooker function unless you are home and  can monitor it. Experiment with each and every recipe and see how long this baby takes and with pre=packaged slow cooker meals you buy at the store. So the one I tried today I must not start it until I get home. I can relax and chill out while the unit automatically cooks my dinner. If it takes less time it shuts itself down to keep warm and beeps at you. Which in a traditonal dumb as dirt crock pot it would have taken the whole 8 hours. Means I cannot leave this baby to just cook for my whole shift away from home on some things. Some things....yes. Some things...no. Test it. It would have just kept it warm, but may have been too dry by the the time I got back. So, the only con to this thing is you gotta do a test run for any recipe other than plain rice in the thing. Otherwise it done good. It was perfectly cooked, just a lot quicker than expected. Which you gotta do for any new appliance. Especially a smart one. It decided it would cook it quickly, rather than all day. Which I appreciate. However, I need to know these things. So test first and then trust it to cook it to perfection. It will.

Smarty pants machine

We got this i think it uses 600 watts of power and we've made lots of meals in it.  Easy to clean and saves us from eating truck stop junk.

Use in our semi. Love it.  Lid locks.

Where have you BEEN all my life, darling !?!  Cooks perfect rice and oatmeal, every time.  Also great for cooking other things - throw the ingredients in, set it, and forget it.  

Unfortunately, the teflon coating on the pot is not of good quality.  I used a metal spoon ONE TIME, and scratched through the coating on the bottom.  For 6 months now, the coating is starting to slowly flake and peel away, around the scratches.  My fault, and I could buy a replacement; but it still works ok, so why bother?  I may buy a 2nd pot, because I usually just eat half of the food cooked at one meal, and then toss the rest into the frig, still in the pot.  It would be nice to buy a second pot, so I can leave the stew from dinner in the frig, when I cook the next morning's oatmeal. 

So, a one minor glitch, but otherwise nothing serious AT ALL.  I've recommended this item to my father, who now has one (and loves it just as much as me.)  I'm thinking that, next Christmas, I'll probably buy a bigger one.  95% of my meals can fit comfortably inside, but occasionally I like to cook something bigger, to subdivide

this rice cooker makes a difference of the rice ! you can put in any kind of rice, this rice cooker makes medium quality rice top quality.  you can taste the difference.  

however, it takes forever to cook. so make sure to give it at least 30 mins to finish its rice cooking cycle.

When I got the box home and opened it, there was no packing material.  The exterior was full of spots, so I knew this was used.  No instructions.  My first big disappointment from online Walmart
