Finding a nickle safe product for ice machines is getting harder. The appliance store I used to get it at went out of business so I found it at Walmart.com. Quick delivery.

Do note that each bottle is good for ONE cleaning. Pour bottle in tank add 2 bottles of water and hit the clean button. Easy.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't realize how much I needed this product until I actually used this product! My ice didn't taste bad before, just a little odd - I preferred to keep a regular old school ice tray instead of using ice from my maker. This product changed that! It's super easy to use and after doing so my ice tastes SO MUCH better! No longer need to use the ice tray, it's great straight from the maker now. I guess we just don't know how dirty things we can't see really are. This made all the difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This products works much better than the original KitchenAid cleaner we've used before. We are using it on a built-in, under counter ice machine that gets heavy use in our home. I suggest also get a few mall-diameter bottle brushes, to clean the hoses as they tend to get pretty grungy and no cleaner we have tried so far works on that! Clean the hoses first, then run the cleaner. You may want to run it through two full clean cycles based on the amount of use your machine gets.

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use a New Air portable Ice maker when I'm camping. Although I use a water filter when using my Ice maker over time it has built up minerals and stains along the sides and parts of the inside. You could rub your finger across the plastic and it felt like sand paper. I decided to use this cleaner/descaler to see if I could clean things up a bit. I mixed according to the instructions and ran the ice maker through a full cycle of water throwing my ice out as it worked its magic. I then ran a batch of fresh water through it and threw that ice out as well. When it was done boy what a difference. After I turned my ice maker off and dried it out with a micro fiber towel it looked brand new inside. It runs like a top and I'm so glad I found this product. Amazing!

This stuff works great on our home undercountet ice machine.

cleaned my ice maker

My Scotsman ice machine needed cleaning as the clean light had been on several days.  I used 4 bottles of this and ran 3 or 4 cleaning cycles.  The ice is cloudy meaning there are still minerals in the machine affecting the ice production.  I will now have to clean it again, but will use product recommended by Scotsman.
