So far, so good. The 23andMe kit arrived quickly and was simple to use with easy instructions. I was a little leery at first since it was so much less expensive than buying it from the company. But, I sent my sample in, and it is being processed as I write this.

Fun and interesting.  I liked knowing my ancestry and the genetic traits listed surprised me.  Some were so wrong - not likely to have dimples and less likely to have a fear of public speaking.  I have dimples and am terrified of public speaking.  Others were right on and surprised me by being genetic traits, such as likely to have misophonia (hate chewing sounds and I do!) and prefer chocolate over vanilla ice cream (yes!).

I recieved the kit as a Christmas gift and I love this product. The results were back within 2 weeks. I automatically had family match results with % dna. Maps wear relatives are in the world. And so much more.. I did the kit, and I bought kits for my kids and  and family members.  if I could give this 10 stars I would.

I was excited this went on sale for black Friday but now i wish i had waited because what i paid for the ancestry test is now what you can get the ancestry and health test for and this test is now $20 cheaper.

it took 8 weeks from sending sample to getting results. There was absolutely nothing on my father's side. I'm getting ancestry to see if they can give me a clue as to who he is.

Got the 23 and me. Now I have to get ancestry.com

makes you pay extra money to find out if your kids are in the system or even a match

I registered the number on the vile and have been waited for results.  I finally called customer service and they said they do not have any record of the vial numbers.  Now I have to prove that I bought this kit through Walmart by a charge on the debit card account. I will continue with the process and hope to be reimbursed or to receive a new kit.
