I've got five of these that I use only for planters and I love them to bits. They're big, so they fit on our tree stumps and I can load them with flowers in the spring. I leave them out all winter, too, and after many years they're still holding up. Eastern Oregon is noted for loooong cold winters. I just drilled out several holes in the bottom of each planter, put some window screening down to keep soil in and insects out, and they're perfect. The only drawback I can think of is that if they're full of damp soil, they're VERY heavy so put them where you want them because they're there to stay. I forgot to mention that they LOOK great, too! Yep, I'm happy...

We bought this to contain our 100 ft, soft nylon garden hose and it fits nicely. I live feet away from the sea and all-metal containers will end up rusting in no time, this is why we opted for plastic. The pot is sleek and understated, we drilled some drainage holes in the bottom.  We are happy with it

This is very light weight, but nice looking.
I put my pocket hose in it. I doubt my regular 50' garden hose would wind up in this.

A bit pricey for what it is....

I have been looking for this in town for some time. i think that this item should be stocked in Walmart, instead in its marketplace. i very much like the item, but the price is a bit much for molded plastic. The shipping company used by vendor (On Track) delivered my package to a different address, and THOSE people opened, took it out of the box, looked at it, did a bad job re-taping the box up (after they decided it wasn't something they wanted to keep) and then they put it on my doorstep,

Finally got my merchandise

Product as expected. There is a hole on the bottom side with a plug in it for the hose to go through. Very easy to remove the plug. It would be great if there was also whole in the bottom so water can be drained. This is easily fixed by drilling holes in the bottom. Walmart had the best price on these hose pot.

Akro Granite Garden Hose Pot & Planter

With a description of  "Akro-Mills 21 inch Granite Garden Hose Pot/Planter" I expected a heavy, if not granite, faux granite.  What I received was a light, plastic gray pot.  With all the restrictions because of the virus, I'm staying in and keeping it but I think it should be more clear that this is plastic.  
It's nice looking but I wouldn't have paid the price if I thought it was light plastic.

Granite?

I like the design but it is too light weight. Pulling out the full length of the hose tends to tip it over. A bit too high priced for what you get. Probably returning it.

I should have read the other reviews before purchase.  THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE PIECE OF PLASTIC I EVER PURCHASED.  Disappointed.....but will keep cuz too much of a hassle to return.  Buyer Beware!!!!

Expensive Disappointment

WAaaaay Overpriced!! 
Nice mold but the plastic is so thin the sunlight shines thru to the inside showing hose. Markup is ridiculous.

Such a piece of junk. This is VERY lightweight plastic, folks, and it doesn't even look like granite. And there are no drainage holes! Spend your money elsewhere.
