Changing or cancelling an order

Can I add, remove, or substitute an item in my order? 

No, you won’t be able to make any modifications to your order at this time. Once your order is placed, the details of that order are final.

If there is another item that you would like to purchase, simply place a new order with us.

If you change your mind and would like to cancel your order, here’s how you can cancel it:

  • If you have a Walmart.ca account, please sign in.
  • Visit the Order Details page in “My Account”.
  • Click on the “Manage Order” button.
  • Under the “Order Information” section, click the “Cancel Order” button.

Keep in mind that your order can only be cancelled within 30 minutes after it has been placed.

Once your order is cancelled, we’ll send you an email notification to let you know and we’ll also update your Order History in your account to show the cancelled order.

Did you checkout as a Guest?
Please note that if you placed an order as a Guest, you must contact our Customer Service team within 30 minutes after your order has been placed in order to cancel your order.

Can I make changes (add/remove items) to my exisiting Grocery order?

Yes, if you have an account and are signed in you can easily add new items to your upcoming Grocery PickUp order from eligible grocery product pages. If your order is eligible, you will see the button “Add to Next Grocery PickUp Order” on the grocery product page. You can also remove items from your existing Grocery PickUp order, or increase/decrease the quantity of an item. Please note, this can only be done before the cut-off time. Cut-off times vary by location. Please refer to your order details page.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order? 

Yes! You can change your shipping address, but only within 30 minutes after you place your order. To request a change, please contact us with your Order Number, which can be found in My Account on the Order Details page.

Can I cancel my order? 

Yes, orders placed for home delivery or store pickup can only be cancelled within 30 minutes after being placed.

If you already have a Walmart.ca account, please visit your "Purchase History" in your Account. Go to "Order Information" and select "Cancel Order."
If you placed your order as a guest, you can access your order information by providing the email address used to place the order as well as the order number on the "Purchase History" page. Go to "Order Information" and select "Cancel Order."

If you miss the 30 minute cancellation window, you can easily return your unwanted items to a Walmart store or by mail (a few exceptions may apply).

For online grocery orders, you can modify or cancel your upcoming grocery order up until the day before your order is scheduled. Please check your order confirmation email for your specific cut-off time. Please note, Express Grocery Pickup orders are processed in a timelier manner compared to standard pickup orders and cannot be cancelled once placed.
